Atletico Madrid glad to get Arda Turan

Midfielder Turkey, Arda Turan was recruited by Atletico Madrid's from the Turkish club, Galatasaray. Arda bound for four years contract with the transfer of 13 million euros.

As released on Atletico's official website, official Arda joined at the Vicente Calderon after conducting medical tests on Friday ( August 12, 2011 ).

Arda is the one player who has long been targeted by Atletico. Galatasaray has announced news of Atletico interest to Arda since last March.

The 24-year-old player has collected 145 games with Galatasaray and scored 28 goals in seven seasons with the team nicknamed Aslanlar. His loyalty with Galatasaray also led him to become captain of the team since two years ago.

Arda Turan has accurate passing and good technique to support Atletico Madrid's front lines, who filled striker Diego Forlan and new striker signed from Deportivo La Coruna, Adrian.
