Steed Malbranque joined Saint-Etienne

Saint-Etienne bring in Steed Malbranque to solve problems in midfield and he has signed on a two-year contract with Saint-Etienne. 

Malbranque transfer negotiations quite quickly because the Saint-Etienne contacted Sunderland only a few days ago. Sunderland agreed to release Malbranque, but Saint-Etienne took won the hearts of the players because of salary scale.

Joining Malbranque be good news for Saint-Etienne which has left a number of mainstay players due to move to another club and injury. Blaise Matuidi and Dimitri Payet move to another club, while Alejandro Alonso severe injury. To that end, Saint-Etienne also seek reform by targeting Girondins Bordeaux player, Wendel.

Coach Christophe Galtier now can leverage the experience Malbranque that during the last several seasons playing at the English Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur, Fulham and Sunderland.
