Barcelona domination of FIFA Ballon d'Or nominee

Without a doubt if Barcelona is a team with a lot of quality players. Their individual prowess, make a list of FIFA Ballon d'Or nominee was filled by players from Barcelona. There are eight Barcelona players, who are now in the list of 23 candidates winning the FIFA Ballon d'Or 2011. Five of them are Spanish citizens. Three others from Argentina, France, and Brazil.
Spain also became the most country, which send candidates for this year. Besides five Barcelona player, there is also Iker Casillas and Xabi Alonso from Real Madrid. Real Madrid become the second club, that sent the most players in the list of 23 candidates winning the FIFA Ballon d'Or 2011. There are 5 players from El Real. Besides Iker Casillas and Xabi Alonso, there is also Cristiano Ronaldo, Mesut Ozil and Karim Benzema.
From the list of 23 players will later be reduced to three finalists. The third finalist nominee FIFA Ballon d'Or 2011 will be announced on December 5, 2011. Announcement of winners and trophies will be performed in a gala at the Palacio de Congresos in Zurich on January 9, 2012.
