Forlan Create a Personal and Family Records


Throughout the Copa America 2011, only two goals that were created Diego Forlan. But, that's enough to make his name into football history books Uruguay. Two goals he has made in the final match against Paraguay made Forlan name same with Hector Scarone as Uruguay's top scorer of all time. Totally, 31 goals which made all the plays for La Celeste.

Previously, Forlan had a record-breaking Rodolfo Rodriguez as a Uruguayan player who most often played for the national team. Until the final Copa America 2011, Forlan has played in 82 games for the Uruguay national team, winning four matches over Rodriguez.

Another record that is to continue the record nicely packed family. Pablo Forlan, Diego Forlan's father, had brought his country to be the best in the Copa America in 1967. While his grandfather, Juan Carlos Corazo, the Uruguay coach in the Copa America 1959. And now, Diego Forlan end the fasting title Uruguay since 1995.
