Barcelona won UEFA Super Cup 2011

Lionel Messi became a hero for Barcelona in UEFA Super Cup 2011. Playing at Stade de Louis II, Monte Carlo ( August 26, 2011 ). Barcelona win 2-0 versus FC Porto from one goal and one assist by Lionel Messi.

Porto actually started the game pretty well. In the 8th minutes, a Joao Moutinho kick forced Victor Valdes dropped himself to block the ball. Three minutes later, Barca almost made the first goal. On 85th minutes, Porto have to play with 10 players after Rolando received second yellow card for violating Messi. Fabregas, who replaced Pedro in the 80th minute successfully doubled the score to 2-0 for Barcelona. In the final minutes, Porto increasingly suffered after Guarin receive red card. Barcelona finally become champion UEFA Super Cup 2011.
