For the 22nd time Real Madrid won Trofeo Santiago Bernabeu. This year, El Real beat Galatasaray 2-1 ( August 24, 2011 ). The tournament is held to commemorate former Real Madrid President, Santiago Bernabeu.

Since it was first held in 1979, Madrid has collected 22 titles (including this year), and 9 times failed. This year, Real Madrid succeed to become champions for the seventh time in consecutive.

In the match versus Galatasaray, Madrid left earlier with a goal by Selcuk Inan in the 11th minute. Luckily, Madrid can reply two goals by Sergio Ramos in the 34th minute and Karim Benzema in the 51th minute. 2-1 score for Real Madrid victory last until the match is finished.
